Eastern European Mission

EEM has been delivering God’s Word to the people of Eastern Europe since 1961 through distribution of Bibles and Bible-based materials to 29 countries in 20+ languages. Check them out at eem.org.

World Bible School

Approximately 30 PA members serve as study helpers for Bible students throughout the world enrolled in the WBS correspondence courses. Annually we have had over 17,000 contacts and dozens of baptisms reported. Neal Odom is PA’s deacon over WBS.

Togo, West Africa

Park Avenue partners with Jeff and Brenda Holland who were instrumental in planting several churches in Togo.  Jeff currently works as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT-A) with Pioneer Bible Translators on the campus of Wycliffe International in Dallas while Brenda currently serves as a Life Coach in the same organization. Combining these skills and nearly 13 years overseas, including 12 years as church planting missionaries in Togo, Africa, the Hollands are devoted to providing missionary care, counseling, and spiritual resources for cross-cultural missionaries.

We also support the work of Hammer Akakule who ministers in Togo in many ways, including caring for orphans.  Watch the video below for a special opportunity Park Avenue had in serving one of these orphans.

Mission Trips

Park Avenue sponsors various mission trips through the year.  Recent trips include missions to Casa de la Esperanza in Mexico and Togo, West Africa.  Our youth group takes an annual summer mission trip and have served in Denver, Philadelphia, and at various local ministries.  We have also supported several students who have undertaken short term mission trips.  If you would like to request funds for a mission trip clink this link for the Missions Fund Request Form.

Monterrey Mexico

Park Avenue is currently supporting Pepe Mario as he serves in full time ministry in Monterrey.

Local Outreach

Park Avenue is involved in supporting several local ministries in serving Texoma.  Among these are Families Feeding Families, Denison Ministerial Alliance Prescription Fund, and Young at Art  Ministries.  PA also operates a food ministry distributing groceries to Denison families in need.

Children’s Homes

Park Avenue supports Arms of Hope which oversees the operation of Boles Home in Quinlan, Texas and Medina Home in the hill country of Texas. We also support the High Plains Home in Amarillo, Texas and the Sunny Glen Home in San Benito, Texas. These homes provide a safe haven and a Christian environment for children and single-mother families. They do not receive state or federal grants and rely on caring individuals, businesses, civic groups, churches and foundations for funding and volunteer support.

Grace Offering

Each year on Easter Sunday Park Avenue designates that Sunday’s contribution to fund our outreach efforts.  We call this contribution our Grace Offering, our response to God’s grace showered on us.  Last Easter we collected over $100,000!  A highlight of our Grace Offering is our children’s coin collection the week before in Daisy’s Little Red Wagon.
