Baptism
Kylie Huddleston was baptized on Sunday, August 9th. We rejoice with her.

Sympathy
Our sympathy is with Kelly Hurley after the passing of her mother, Rosa Massey. A private graveside service was held at Cedarlawn on Saturday.

College Age Ministry
Our CAM (college age ministry) is looking for someone to lead this ministry at Grayson College.  If you would be interested in this role please contact Gary Calvert.  

Volunteer Opportunity                                                           
A great opportunity will open this Winter for a teacher and two assistants in the Wednesday night Toddler Bible class this winter (Dec-Feb) 6:30-7:30. Lessons, supplies, and support are ready to make serving this class a blessing! See Rachel McClure to volunteer.

Food Drive
We will have a food drive September 6 through September 27 to help the Barnabas Center fill their pantry in preparation for Thanksgiving.

Pressing On - Forward in Faith
Next Sunday, August 23,  we launch our Pressing On Forward in Faith Campaign. Our first step is our 40 Days of Prayer, please sign up on our calendar in the atrium. You can also sign up online through the app or website. NOTE TO PARENTS: There will be no children’s classes next Sunday for kids over 3 years old so all teachers and our children can share the vision.
