Ministers Cook Off

Join us today at 6:00 PM in the Courtyard for our annual Minister's Cook Off.  We will enjoy some good food and fellowship. Bring a lawn chair!   There will be no Bible classes tonight. We will have seating available indoors.

Baptisms

We rejoice with Olivia Crist and Baker Allison and their families after they were baptized into Christ earlier this week. 

Memorial Service

A memorial service for Verzella Rainwater will be held on Monday, September 21 at 10 AM at Park Avenue Church.

Barnabas Food Drive

Our annual food drive begins this Sunday and will run from September 6-27.  Grab a tab or two from the Atrium this Sunday and help fill the pantry for Thanksgiving.

90th Birthday Celebration

You are invited to a come and go event to celebrate the birthday of Jane Smith-Williams at her home at 2100 Flora Lane, Denison this Saturday, September 5 from 1:00-3:00 PM.  No gifts, please.

Baby Shower

Join us for a baby shower to honor Cina Strickland and baby Kiran in the Atrium on Sunday, September 20 from 1:30-3:00 PM. Registry is at  babylist.com

Parent & Church Commitment Sunday

On Sunday, September 13 during our worship service we will honor our families with new babies, and commit as a church body to assist them on their children's spiritual development. Make plans to join us that Sunday for this special service.

Pressing On Forward in Faith

Our Prayer & Fasting Calendar is filling up but there are still spaces for you to sign up, if you have not already done so.  We want to encourage everyone to participate in this special time of prayer for our church and community. We also encourage you to sign up for one of the Informational Gatherings at pacoc.net/312. These begin on Saturday, September 12. This is a place where our leaders can share more of the vision for our church and community over the next few years. If you have any questions, please speak to an Elder or Minister today.

Youth Ministry

·              Wednesday, September 2: No Bible Class tonight as we will participate in the Minister's Cook Off.  

•             Sunday, September 6: Rooted will meet at Sam & Maddie's house from 5:00-7:30 PM.
