TODD'S TAKE
Good morning and welcome to our special time of worship.

Today we will be looking at Psalm 18, David’s words of praise to God for delivering him from his enemies. David knew the highs and lows of life, and in Psalm 18 he’s on one of the highs and puts into beautiful words the powerful God who delivered him. That same God is ready to save you as well. Continue to trust in His provisions and when He delivers remember to praise Him with all your being.

I want to thank all of our marvelous volunteers who make so much of what we do here at PACOC happen. Yesterday was another example as the Ladies gathered to celebrate Joy at their Ladies Day. So many people helped out to make it a great day of celebration, joy and fellowship. It’s a beautiful thing to see God’s people working together.

Members, please take some time today to look around and greet our guests. Also, take a look through The Messenger to see how you can serve and grow.

Glad to have everyone here this morning!

NEXT SUNDAY IS BACK TO CHURCH SUNDAY

  • Invite those who have been away from church.
  • Invite those who have never been to church.
  • Join us in the community celebration at Forest Park from 4:30-6:00 with bounce houses,     music, and food trucks and then stay for our community worship at Munson Stadium from 6:00-7:00. Jay Thomas, a  Dove Award  nominated singer and songwriter, will lead our worship and Denison’s new football coach and athletic director Brent Whitson will share with us his passion for the local church.
  • We need a few volunteers from each church to clean up. If you can help, let Todd know.

TAKE THE GOSPEL CHALLENGE
This morning we continue a new Sunday AM adult Bible class called the Gospel Challenge. We will spend the next year diving into the gospels. Using Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John we will take a chronological look at the life and ministry of Jesus.
Even if you are not able to attend class we encourage you to consider reading along as part of your daily time in the Word. Weekly readings will be posted on the church app and website for you to keep pace.
Spend the next 12 months with Jesus!
