TODD’S TAKE
Good morning and welcome to our worship services. If you are a guest with us today, our prayer is that you are blessed by our time of worship. We invite you to talk with any of us about how God is working through the Park Avenue Church.

Happy Easter! We are so glad to have you join us this morning to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus. The empty tomb has changed everything and today in the sermon time we will see how it changed the lives of two men who had an unlikely encounter with the resurrected Jesus.

Our prayer is that all of us are filled with joy, hope, and peace as we also remember in a special way today that Jesus is risen just as he said!

Last week we had our Daisy’s Little Red Wagon coin collection and took in $3,498.34 all of which will go to our outreach ministries. It is always such a blessing to see our children participate in the grace of giving. Thanks to you all for giving so generously to the work of the Lord.

In addition to Daisy’s Little Red Wagon, today’s offering will all go toward the outreach efforts of the Park Avenue Church of Christ. We help support mission points around the world including Mexico, Columbia, Brazil, Africa and the nations of Eastern Europe. In addition to our international outreach we also invest in our community with food distribution through our Barnabas Center and also help support other community efforts that   assist those in need including Texoma Family Shelter and the Homeless Empowerment Action Team. We are For Texoma and want to share the grace of God with as many as possible.  That’s why we call this Sunday’s collection our Grace Offering. As recipients of God's grace our desire is to allow that grace to flow though us into the lives of others. We hope that all of us will give generously as we have been blessed so abundantly!
