Congratulations to Brandon & Brittni Calvert on the birth of their baby boy, Briggs Austin Calvert born December 10th, weighing  8lbs 7 oz, and 21” long.  Proud grandparents are Gary & Shelly Calvert.
 
Blue Christmas
Waples Memorial Church will host a service of hope for the holidays on December 21 at 6 PM.  This will be a quiet reflective service focusing on the comfort and light God offers us in dark and difficult times.
 
Youth Ministry

  • Sunday, Dec. 14th: Come for dinner from 5:15-6:15. Youth room doors open at 6. We will continue our Christmas series at 6:30pm! 
  • Sunday, Dec. 19th: Come for dinner, devotional, and a Christmas movie! From 5:30-8:30! 
  • Park Avenue Youth Christmas Give Back: Students please bring $1 or $2 each youth group meeting for the next couple of weeks. Then on Dec. 22nd we are going to go bless families in our community. 
  • Jan. 13th-15th: Winterfest 2023! Get signed up online! 

 
Kids Advent Activity
It's not too late to get started on this Advent activity! Pick one up in the Atrium for your own kids, grandkids, or neighbors. This is a great way to remind all of our kids of the powerful true story of Christmas. 
 
Marriage Getaway
Looking for the perfect Christmas gift for your spouse? Invest in your marriage together by committing to the Marriage  Getaway this February 24 through 26th!  This will be a great chance to relax, reflect, and reconnect with one another. Dr. Heidi Morris, licensed and professional counselor and professor of Marriage and Family Therapy at Abilene Christian University and will be our speaker for the weekend. Register online now!
 
Christmas Day Candlelight Service
Come join us on Christmas morning at 10 AM for our Christmas morning candlelight service.
 
Christmas Eve Program (Online Only)
You can also join us on Christmas Eve in the comfort of your own home for a Christmas Eve program streaming on Facebook and YouTube.  The program will premier at 6 PM and will feature our kids, ministers, youth group and praise team.
