Pot Luck Luncheon

We want to honor our new Youth Minister and his wife, Sam & Maddie (Madelyn) Cannon with a potluck luncheon on Sunday, August 10th in the Ark immediately after worship. At that time we would like to shower them with either gift cards or baby gifts. They are registered at babylist.com. The church will provide the meat. We would ask that you bring a side dish. Please note the food assignments listed below by the letter of your last name.

Re-Engage

Registration is a safe place for married couples to revitalize their marriage, to reconnect, and also invest in their relationship. Re-Engage will start on Monday nights from 6-8 PM beginning on August 4-November 17.  Registration will close tomorrow, July 31st. If you have any questions, contact Basil, Rachel or Tyler.

Park Avenue Family Ministry Survey will be out this week; please be looking for an email with it. We want your input as we begin developing a plan for Park Avenue Family Ministry! Please continue to lift up this ministry in prayer.

 

Back to School Prayer Activities

“Pray in the Spirit at all times. Pray with all kinds of prayers, and ask for everything you need”.

Ephesians 6:18

 

We invite everyone, adults and children, to participate in our Back to School Prayer Activity. In the next few weeks, we will have tables covered in butcher paper placed in various  locations inside the building. Educators & children will trace their handprint on the butcher paper, and the rest of us will trace our handprint over theirs—symbolizing our promise to cover them in prayer this school year. 

Community Back to School Prayer

We will also have a community back to school prayer on Sunday, August 10th. We will meet at Heritage Park at 7:00 PM and disperse to different campuses. Join us for this special time of community prayer.

 

PACOC Back to School Prayer

Also on August 10th we will have a congregational prayer for all our teachers, administrators and staff in our morning worship as we embark on another school year.

 

Youth Ministry

  • Saturday, August 2: Girls Movie Night @ The Cannon's House / Guys Game Night @ The Ark (6:00-9:00 PM for both).
  • Sunday, August 3: Parent Meeting from 4:30-5:00 before Connect.
