NEWS & NOTES
Thank You
Thanks a million for the goodie bag you delivered to me before Christmas. It was so thoughtful of all who   prepared it plus the boy who delivered it in the rain. I miss you all. I hope to be back soon.  Mary Hendrickson

Share Your Story
We would love to hear the story that God has written in your life. We are looking to produce 3-5 minute videos featuring the stories of our members, to encourage the body of believers, remind us of God's faithfulness in our lives, and glorify God for all that he has done. This could be a story of your spiritual journey, the transformation Jesus has brought about in your life, or a time when God has answered your prayers. If you would be willing to share your story of God's power in your life, please fill out the form at www.pacoc.net/stories

TODD'S TAKE
Happy Sunday! This morning is our annual Celebration of Marriage when we celebrate with PA couples who are celebrating multiple-of-five anniversaries. Today we will recognize 19 couples who have been married a total of 710 years!

We really want to encourage and support all of our married couples as this relationship is so important. We are excited about our Marriage Get-A-Way weekend coming up later this month. This is one intentional event we plan to bless and support marriages. Let me also remind you of the availability of our ministers and elders for marital or pre-marital counseling as well as our association with Elise Thompson, a licensed counselor. She provides counseling for a variety of issues. The church has budgeted funds to financially assist our members. Contact one of the ministers or call Elise directly at 972-679-2167. Another resource is our Right Now Media streaming service which provides several marriage videos. Take a look at what is there and dedicate some time either personally or as a couple to invest in your marriage.

We are grateful for all our volunteers who helped out with another distribution day for the North Texas Mobile Food Pantry. Thanks also for everyone that shared our post – that really helps get the word out. Anytime you can, please share our social posts and if you don’t already follow us on social media please do so to keep up with all that’s happening here and help us be more present in the digital world.

Just a reminder that Grace Offering will be here before we know it. This year it falls on April 4 – less than two months away. I hope you’re filling up your coin cans for Daisy’s Little Red Wagon which will be the week before, March 28. If you need a coin container, pick one up at the office. All the Grace Offering contribution goes to support out outreach efforts.

One of our outreach efforts is Casa de Esperanza, an orphanage in Mexico. This Sunday they will be hosting their first worship services in their new building in Anahuac, the small town close to the campus. Many of us who have travelled to Casa have helped out in getting that building ready to use.  How wonderful to see this next stage of outreach come to fruition.

Next week I will be starting a series called “Confronting Christianity – Hard Questions for the World’s Largest Religion.” It will be based on the book by Rebecca McLaughlin.
