Baptism
Congratulations to Seth Banks who was baptized into Christ by Gary Calvert last week at Camp Horizon. We rejoice with Seth and his family.
 
Welcome to the Cannon Family
Today we welcome Sam Cannon, our new Youth Minister and his wife, Maddie.  In their honor we are planning a pot luck luncheon – the date will be confirmed soon!  Sam and Maddie are expecting a baby in September, and we want to shower them with gift cards or baby gifts at the luncheon. They are registered at babylist.com
 
Prayer Garden
The Prayer Garden is open to members as well as the community of Denison. It is complete with a fountain, walking path, benches, and a gazebo providing an ideal location for prayer, meditation, self-reflection, and an intimate and quaint location for weddings and funerals. Reservations can be made through the church office.
 
Christian Theater Workshop
This coming week our High School students will begin night practices for CTW. Day camp is the following week, July 14-18th. Performances will be held on Saturday, July 19 at noon and 7 PM, and Sunday, July 20 at 4 PM. 
 
Re-Engage
Registration is now open for Re-Engage at pacoc.net/reengage. This is a safe place for married couples to revitalize their marriage, to reconnect, and also invest in their relationship.  Re-Engage will start on Monday nights from 6-8 PM beginning on August 4-November 17.  If you have any questions, contact Basil, Rachel or Tyler.
 
Man Alive
Men, join us this coming Saturday, July 12th at 8AM in the Ark for breakfast, community and challenge.
 
New Men’s Bible Class
There will be a new Men’s Bible Class starting this Thursday, July 10th on Thursday mornings from 10:00-11:00 AM in Room A.  The class will be led by Anthony Bryant and they will be studying the book of Ephesians.
 
SAMPACC Game Night
The senior adult ministry will meet for a game night on Monday, July 14th at 5:30 PM in the atrium. Bring a finger food to share.
 
Youth Ministry

  • Sun. July 6th: Come welcome Sam and Maddie for their first Sunday from 5:30-7:30pm in the gym.

Park Avenue Wednesday Supper
Join us this Wednesday at 5:15 PM for our PAWS Lite. We are having Hamburgers, Hotdogs, Veggie Burgers, Salad & Dessert. The meal will be prepared by Amyee McAlister and her team.  Serving starts at 5:15 PM and stops promptly at 6:15 PM.
