Thank You

I want to thank my church family for all the cards, prayers, and calls during this year of my health issues. My spirit would have gotten awfully down without your support. My doctor says I should be fine now. It will just take time. Thank you again!  Carol McClure

Good morning and welcome to our worship. This morning I will continue the sermon series, Insights from the Inner Circle, looking at the apostle John’s first letter and, in particular, look at his words in 2:2-11.

Please note the many opportunities available to deepen our knowledge of God and to allow him to work through us.

National Day of Prayer
This year’s National Day of Prayer will be held May 6, 2021.  The traditional larger gathering that has taken place in Denison in recent years will be replaced by three smaller gatherings The Ministerial Alliance of Denison is encouraging citizens to join for prayer at one of three locations on May 6, from noon until 1pm.  The gatherings at Mt. Olive and Parkside will be indoor gatherings with social distancing in place and masks preferred.  The gathering at Park Avenue will be an outdoor gathering in their prayer garden where masks are optional.
