Thank you to all our CTW volunteers who made our day camp and performance possible this year. Our theme was God is Greater than all the Highs and Lows.  We give all the glory to God for a wonderful week!
 
Family Promise
We will host Family Promise the week of August 15-22.  We need help with Evening Hosts (5:30-7:30PM to eat  supper with our guests), Night Hosts (spend the night at the Ark 8:30PM-7AM), and Folks Willing to Cook a Meal (for our guest families). Flight 56 Swim Night
Flight 56 swim night has been rescheduled for August 15, from 5-7 PM at the Banks’ house.
 
Youth Ministry
  • Sunday, August 1: There will be no youth group meeting tonight.
  • Wednesday, August 4: Color War Party.  We will meet at Parkside Baptist Church at 8 PM. 
  • Sunday, August 8: Park Avenue Youth Swim Party at the Trotters from 5:30-8PM.
Man Alive
Men, join us on Saturday, August 14 at 7:30AM for  breakfast and hear from our guest speaker former Navy Seal Garrett Unclebach.
 
Ladies Day
Ladies, make plans to join us for a day of joy-filled fellowship, teaching, worship, and laughter on Saturday, September 11.  Registration is $10 per person. Tickets will be on sale again today after worship service in the atrium or you can also register online. Invite a friend, family member, neighbor, or co-worker to share this joyful and refreshing experience with us. We will be joined by speaker Becky Brooks, and Christian comedian and ventriloquist Lauren Lucille Vasser. Coffee will be provided from Revolution Coffee, and lunch will also be provided.
 
Back to School Prayer
Join us this Wednesday, August 4 at 6:30 PM for a time of prayer for our students and staff as they return to school for the new school year.
 
Welcome Back Wednesdays
Beginning on Wednesday, September 1our fall activities will begin.  PAWS will return at 5:15 PM followed by community options at 6:30 PM.   
 
Back to Church Sunday
Mark your calendars for Sunday, September 19. The churches of Denison are planning a Back to Church Sunday calling everyone to connect or reconnect to a church involvement with the body of Christ. There will be a celebration at Forest Park from 4:30-6:00PM followed by a community worship at Munson Stadium from 6:00-7:00PM. For more information visit the website at denisoncomeback.com. Pettijohn Springs Christian Camp
This year marks the 50th anniversary of Pettijohn Springs Christian Camp.  On Saturday, September 25 they will have a celebration for all who have been associated with the camp over the years.
