Baptisms

We rejoice with Michael Haley and his family after he was baptized into Christ last Sunday.

We also rejoice with Lori Sumpter and her family following her baptism last Friday.

 

Chili Fundraiser

PACOC will host a fund raiser for Center Cross on Friday, November 6 in the ARK at 6:00 PM.  Tickets are $50 per person or $25 if you submit a chili. You can sign up by scanning the QR code or pay at the door. Proceeds will go toward Center Cross homeless ministry. Contact Basil for any questions.

 

Lady Jacket Breakfasts

We will be hosting one more lady jacket breakfasts this year for the female athletes in the Denison school district. The date is November 6.  You can volunteer to cook, serve or clean up at pacoc.net/jackets

 

Men's Conference

Join the men of Park Avenue as we travel together to the Men's conference at The Hills Church, January 22-23, 2027.  The weekend will feature Steve Carter, Colt McCoy, Rick Atchley, and Emmanuel Dominguez and will include Biblical teaching, encouragement, and time together with other men.  Registration options: Share a Room $75, Single Room-$125.

Operation Christmas Child

Pick up a shoebox from the worship center to fill with gifts for children around the world. Also remember to pick up a handmade string bag to place inside your box! They are located near the Welcome Centers. Filled shoeboxes should be returned by November 15.

Youth Ministry

•             Wednesday, October 28: Bible class tonight at 6:30 PM.

•             Sunday, November 1: Rooted will meet from 5:00-7:30 PM in the gym.

 

Celebration Sunday - November 1

This coming Sunday we will gather together as a church family and celebrate what God is doing through us and set our sights on the future. Following worship, we'll share a meal together in the ark! The church will provide the main course, and we're asking everyone to bring a dish to share based on the first letter of your last name:

A-F: Salad

G-N: Side Dish

O-Z: Dessert

Please bring enough to share with several people. We look forward to celebrating together!
