NEWS & NOTES

Membership
We want to welcome back Calvin Hiett to our membership.

Thank You
From the bottom of our hearts, we want to express our sincere gratitude for the overwhelming love and support you've shown us during this difficult period. Your prayers, cards, and visits have been a true source of comfort and strength, providing a lifeline during these many challenging months. We've been deeply touched and feel fortunate to be surrounded by such supportive friends and family. We think we are healing well and are optimistic about the future. Thank you again for everything. Your support has meant the world to us. With love and appreciation, Mike & Marsha Foltermann

Learning to Lead Camp
Learning to Lead summer camp, last week, allowed our 4th-6th graders to grow as disciples of Jesus! The Bible focus of the week allowed a close up look at the life of Peter, and the way his heart was transformed into that of a servant-leader! Please continue your prayers for the hearts and minds of our students.

TODD’S TAKE
Good morning and welcome to our worship services.

While I'll be away for the next two Sundays, God's word will continue to be faithfully proclaimed. Today we are blessed to have Anthony Bryant delivering the message. Anthony has a rich history with our congregation, having served as preaching minister both here at Park Avenue and at our previous location on Armstrong Avenue from 1981-1993. He played a vital role in our transition to this current facility, and our church owes him a debt of gratitude for his faithful service during those formative years. Anthony recently returned to Denison, and we are truly honored to have him share with us today about the supremacy of Christ.

Please lift up in prayer our ministry team currently serving at Casa de la Esperanza. They are such a blessing, and while we cannot all be there physically, we can take encouragement knowing that your generous Grace Offering contributions are helping to support this important work.

Looking ahead to next week, we are excited to welcome Sam Cannon and his wife Maddie as Sam begins his ministry with us as our new Youth Minister. We're planning a welcome potluck in their honor and will announce the details as they are finalized.
