TODD’S TAKE
Welcome to worship!

This morning we're changing things up. Instead of a traditional sermon, we have two special guests joining us to share firsthand how God is working through our partnerships around the globe—one in Mexico and one in West Africa. We will also hear a report from Rachel's recent trip to Brazil.

We rejoice with the Barnabas Center as they were the recipient of a generous gift from the TMC Volunteers. These funds will help provide for the Weekend To Go Bags for DISD students. It's wonderful to see our community working together to serve our kids.

Friday marked the 15th anniversary of 10/10/10—the Sunday we dedicated the Family Life Center. The Ark, as we call it, has been such a wonderful tool in our ministry efforts here at Park Avenue as it regularly serves us for classes, fellowships, and our annual Christian Theater Workshop. But in addition to that we have seen it used for weddings, a temporary shelter, a host of community events, and many other activities. What a blessing it has been as we continue to see God working through this church in increasing ways.

New Sunday Morning Bible Class
Beginning Sunday October 19, we will be offering a 7-week study based on the new documentary Truth Rising from Focus on the Family and the Colson Center. Truth Rising isn’t just a documentary— it’s a call to action at a critical time in our culture. As faith, identity, and morality are being redefined, this documentary exposes the civilizational moment we are living in. Through powerful stories and expert insights, it reveals how ordinary people can make an extraordinary impact—by boldly choosing courage over fear. As the world redefines truth, Truth Rising offers clarity, courage, and a Christ-centered path forward. The Study is built around four key themes—Hope, Truth, Identity, and Calling—this study equips you to understand the times, ground yourselves in God’s truth, and step boldly into your role in history. It will meet at 9 AM in the Youth Suite. Children’s classes (Sonshine Hour) is available for those kids whose parents are attending Bible class.
